Ok, to set the right mood for this, here’s my favorite satirical article about the never-ending story of Berlin’s catastrophic airport project (in German):

The article suggests the introduction of an additional future tense “Futur III” to the German language, to enable discussing actions that would be completed in the future (as in Futur II) but will actually most likely not be completed at all.
On a more serious note, the airport is organizing a GA Fly In on August 30 and 31 (Saturday is already fully booked).

On the microlight forum where I learned about it, there were dire warnings about some draconian measures, see below. Can’t really call it a Fly-In, under such conditions. Several participants did book nevertheless.
