TB20 on Prepar3D

Does anyone know when http://justflight.com/product/socata-tb20 will be released? Pictures look nice, but they don’t respond on email inquiries.

United States

I am a beta tester for the product and they are using some of the data I sent them from my TB20.
The project is progressing very slow but they will certainly complete it at some point. They have other priories I guess.
I communicate with them something like once a month to “ping” them and keep up the motivation.
The one thing I convinced them to integrate – which initially they had no intention to – is the RXP GNS530 in the panel.
It will be for Microsoft FSX and P3D.

Until they release it I have in my FSX the Lionheart TB installed which is not on sale any more.

I have done several tweaks on it to fix some day/night display issues, a repaint of my aircraft as is and a panel modified for my aircraft as is.
If you want I can send you the files, it flies relatively well but the performance is not “realistic” to real TB20 full details, enough to enjoy it as a GA aircraft sim though.
I just have it for my son to play

In 2002 I did some flight testing to get perf data for some American simmers who were building a TB20 model for what was then FS2000.

I recall running it in FS2004 and maybe FSX. My younger son was a keen simmer too, with some 500hrs TT. I used the sim for my IMC Rating for which it was brilliant.

The model is still out there somewhere. I don’t remember the name etc but one guy who was involved with it was a “Father Bill Leeming” who should come up on google.

Thank you petakas. Glad that they still plan to finish it up. I hope “at some point” means in the not so distant future. Will integrating 530 mean that 430 is integratable as well?

United States

Ι assume yes since its just a matter of panel space and once they leave the one for 530 then 430 can also go in instead by leaving some blank panel surface below it..
Even if the configuration for the 430 is not there you will be able to do some extremely simple change to panel.cfg and use the 430 instead (basically change any 530 to 430 text).
When the time comes we’ll see what they put out as final product.
