TB20 gets a new Eurocontrol identifier: "TB20"

It is no longer “TRIN”.

It is now “TB20”.

I have no idea about the TB21… but apparently there is a number of TBxx IDs now.

Under Socata you find Trinidad TC is now TB21 -
the TB-10 is TOBA

EDxx, Germany

Any reference for this?

TB20 doesn’t exist here or here

It now seems to exist in DOC8643 since April 14th, but it doesn’t look like it has made its way into the Eurocontrol system.

I can’t really see the benefit of this change. Would ATC be aware enough of the different climb performance etc. to distinguish between models and tart them differently?

Sounds like tinkering for the sake of it to me.

Will this mean that TRIN flight plans will be rejected shortly?
