EuroGA will be offline for several hours on Saturday 11th October in the morning (UK time). If all goes to plan it will be back online by around 1pm.
The servers on which we run EuroGA are in a data centre in Docklands, East London and have been for over 15 years. At the end of the year the building is being pulled down to be replaced by a more modern data centre. As such we will be physically moving several cabinets of servers to a new data centre some 80 miles away. During the move if you visit EuroGA you’ll be greeted with a simple “We’re offline” page. If the downtime gets extended we’ll update that page to reflect it.

My mistake. You wouldn’t think this has been literally 9 months in the planning.
The downtime will be on Saturday 11th October 2014. I’ve amended the original post to reflect that, but thanks for Peter for pointing it out.
