Can somebody recommend a good instrument workshop who is experienced with Nav-instruments?
Avionic workshop ´s often does not offer this but like to sell new stuff.
Need to check my RMI-instrument in germany or another country
Thanks for your input
Avionik Straubing is the largest in Europe and in my experience the most qualified.
This UK company has a very good reputation for fixing the “classic” King stuff.
IAE at Cranfield (EGTC) used to do it but they closed the capability when their man retired.
Contact Jesse on this forum.
thx, I did already
thats why I ask her :-)
Avionik Straubing might repair/overhaul your RMI while you wait. Last year they overhauled my Turn Coordinator while I had lunch at the airport restaurant …
Highly recommended
I can’t be sure and it doesn’t really matter, but I don’t think Jesse is “her”, must rather be “him”.
ASP Avionics in Genk Zwartberg (Belgium) installed a TAS600, diagnosed and fixed the Stormscope on the DA40 I fly.
They have been straight arrows in all circumstances, including when the TAS stopped working just before the warranty expired, had to be taken out and shipped to the states for repairs.
thx Jan, it was just finger trouble on the keyboard , sure “him”
