I’ve not followed this closely over the years, but the 700 has just been approved for a G1000 Seneca.
It occurred to me that perhaps Garmin will never sell it into the non-G1000 market. Would that be the case presently?
AFAIK presently only available on the G1000. Selling it separately, if that is good idea, would require a separate knob-panel anyway.
Yeah, I presume the GFC700 was simply made as a companion to the G1000. If I were Garmin, I wouldn’t worry much, since I guess 95% of the new aircraft market between the C172 and the smaller jets (that’s including Cirrus, Cessna, Piper, Beech, Diamond) is now G1000 anyways.
