Bose X Service Kit

Does anyone know if it is possible to order a Bose X service kit anymore, either from Bose or a third party? I have a set which get used as pax headsets and it would be nice to give them a refresh if possible (ear pieces and microphone screen).

The ear cuffs (I assume you mean the outer ones) and the mic screen are readily available. As are the stirrups (the yoke-type thinks that hold the cups). I just refreshed one of mine.

I bought a kit from Transair last year

I used Transair a lot earlier. Do they sell in the EU? I need a kit for my Bose X’s too.

At least they quote freight cost for the EU. I have looked at Transair a few times after Brexit and I don’t think they’re competitive anymore for a EU customer.

The shop with the lowest prices I’ve found is Friebe Flugbedarf, https://friebe.aero. They do have spares for Bose X.

The only post brexit change is the potential carrier admin charge for collecting the Import VAT. A UK seller ships to the EU free of VAT.

For whatever reason, exchange rates, VAT, duty, delivery costs etc., I find Transair more expensive now than it used to be. I have not bothered to analyse why.

Thank you. I have now placed an order with Friebe. The online shop did not immediately accept my VISA and I have sent a pm to custom support.
