I had the same with German customs. They were wrong, I was right and all I got was “we let you off the hook this time but next time we’ll take you down”. Typical reaction by the executive branch. I was very angry but realized the smart reaction was to just ignore it because I got what I wanted. I have a half finished letter to the police prefect where I demand an official statement + apology but haven’t finished it yet…
