I'm tooling up for APRS: Byonics hardware, ham license, subscription.. Infact it will be in view of La-R escapade and in observance of more strict tethering requested by my wife Françoise.
I'd like to know if others in this group are already using this system, not necessarily for the same tethering purpose ..
In case we will be a not-so-negligible number, I might suggest to the chaps who are running this forum to add a page where all Euroga APRS users can be listed, found and eventually tracked, something like this:
which is run by a US colleague Ez canard driver.
I'd think that something like this would be a nice feature to add to this already meaningful forum, and it would improve our "spirit of group" and promote reciprocal acquaintance.
It would be interesting, for instance, to check pilots converging to a fly-in.
