Someone told me that you get a bill if you check in to a Flight Information Service in Germany.
I.e. Langen Information or Bremen Information.
Is that really true?
It is not true.
Flying VFR you only have to pay the DFS a fee when using one of the bigger international airports (besides the landing fee you pay to the airport operator).
