Great flying sequences
not sure about that, left open to each and everyone’s appreciation…
This movie got surprisingly good reviews in major media (at least here) and is said to be much better than the original Top Gun.
I saw it yesterday, and it was a lot of fun!
Going to see it tomorrow 26 years ago (I think) I saw the first one.
Getting too old to do math. It’s 36 years ago since I saw the first one. It came in 1986.

Just saw it with my wife. My score on a dice.
As an action movie for boys and girls of all ages : 6
Cool flying in cool aircraft ; 6
Realism : it’s an action movie, not a documentary

Ok then, “in my opinion”
Just saw the movie. It’s ridiculous, and ridiculously good.
Saw it last night.
It is a fairly good and somewhat cheesy yarn; same formula as last time. I didn’t like the basic technical errors like using flares against radar guided missiles
However in the age of cinemas being full of utterly dreary and terrible CGI crap, it definitely stands out.
Both me and my lady enjoyed the film – perhaps for different reasons. It does show what can be done with a team that wants to make a good movie.
