I was about to moan that it doesn’t work on Windows 8 (would make Peter happy) but even on Win 7 with IE10 it doesn’t work. It does happily work on Win 8 and Firefox though :-) Looks like M$ have lost their sense of fun…

Microsoft had a flight simulator at one time. I think it was in Windows 95, don’t remember exactly. It was an easter egg thing, but very well made.
