Perfect family plane when they retire and (if they) end up on the civil market. ;)

SAAB did plan to also market it as a bizjet.

The nose looks funny on OP‘s image. Maybe a special version?

If you intend to buy some, contact the austrian military. Around 40 were originally bought, 20 were decommissioned at the end of 2020 (after 50 years of service).

Some of them had cameras in the nose, hence the look. They were called the “anteaters”.

ESSZ, Sweden

Any ideas on this one? From EGHP approx 2014 or 2015. Can’t remember anything else about it.

Going by the looks of the nose i would guess a dehaviland.

EBZW, Belgium

I looked at Miles, Percival and De Havilland monoplanes and couldn’t find one with that shape of cooling air intake.

(It’s a holiday in the US today so I free to amuse myself at home before the eating starts)
