Can i type in the wind, if i have it… ?
I’m not sure which package you are refering to, as three are mentioned in the last three posts. I think you already use SD, so you probably know the answer for that (I don’t know it).
For certainly for all PocketFMS products you can type in a known wind vector. Our wind comes from Top Meteo, aviation weather forecasters, along with our 72 hour, hour by hour forecast; not from the free GFS source. It does mean that we have to pay for it, but we believe that their professional expertise is worth it.
Re the OP, I’d comment that I found radio reception poor in that area after crossing the German border.
Amsterdam Info works OK but it was slightly unnerving being over the water outside FIS coverage.
Great scenery though and sounds like a good destination.
