Just curious – which of these IFR concepts are actually used in Europe?
- Contact Approach (sort of like a “special VFR” for IFR)
- Cruise Clearance (block altitude & cleared for the approach at destination…mostly used in non-radar Alaska?)
- LDA approaches (> 3 degs offset localizers; I’m sure they’re used in Europe, but what’s their terminology?)
- NDB approaches (okay, cheap shot)
