Flight Shoreham EGKA to Alderney EGJA while fog was clearing

With fog I would normally not depart until the METARs show above minima (RNP08) but in this case, with ~10hrs endurance and a 1hr flight back, I waited for “blue sky holes in the OVC001/1500m” phone-reported conditions and went
The fog cleared up over the airport maybe half an hour before arrival

You can see the advantage of an airport a few hundred feet AMSL
