Dear Community,
we have an Aspen 1000 installed as a PFD and got hold of a Garmin G600 (GDU620) and a GAD43.
Do I need to install all Airdata Computer, AHARS etc, components for the G500 from Garmin or can the Garmin in times of ARINC429 pull all the information from the Aspen System?

It’s definitely not a certified option for the G500 to use non-Garmin sensors and I don’t see how you’d configure it in the GDU set-up. As the GRS77 and GDC74 also report their status and receive their config data from the GDU, I really don’t think it will work.
