Sorry, if offered the above bacon roll or the Greek fish offerings on the first page of this thread, its the bacon roll every time… but then seafood doesn’t agree with me and I dislike smoked/salted fish…

That rotisserie BBQ at the top of the page looks good.
That is a particularly large example of the quintessentially British breakfast item, the bacon sandwich.
You wouldn’t be served one like that anywhere unless it was as some sort of novelty.
Preferences vary and there are many different ways to do it but I like thin and crispy streaky bacon on slightly toasted sourdough bread with plenty of HP sauce. I never order one when out and about unless I know the place does the sort I like. These things are far better when home made.
I actually prefer a sausage sandwich to a bacon sandwich, and I know our German cousins are also partial to the sausage / bread combo.
