Approach to Sarentino

Heres a short clip about a flight from EDTQ to Sarentino, incl the approach. We had wheelpants on, so the skis were taken as external load. Hansjörg my Copilot made the clip. Thanks.

Thanks for posting that Thomas, nice airfield. No snow yet?

Is that an MTV-15 prop on the front of your Husky?

Started snowing yesterday, but not a lot. Asiago has about 10 cm.
Yes MTV 15, I even had the prototype on my Husky.

Sarentino has got a new plane :

Enjoy!

So the Pocket Rocket wasn’t enough?

A man after my own heart.
I think the most impressive part of the Pilatus video is negotiating that narrow road leading to the strip. Looked very tight!
Nice to see an aircraft like that being used on a grass strip.

Impressive :-)
And I just discovered, thanks to you, a plane I didn’t really know, the Quest Kodiak 100. Which looks like a big C182.. Really like it :-)

@Snowbirdxx
Could you tell us more about this place / altiport ? Is it only private or open to others ? Is it an “industry” near ?

@Snowbirdxx
I really feel moved by this video… This is exactly the way I like flying :-D
Just a remark: it seems that you lose 20kt indicated from 7500 to 13500ft.. Is the PT6 losing power so quickly at those relatively low altitudes ?

(Just discovered some other bits of your flying skills and incredible toys & place on the forum and youtube. Hat off !!!)
