It’s more a dream for now than a project, but we are thinking about traveling to Medjugorje.
I know hardly a thing about the ex-yougoslavia situation, except croatia. Especially the flying part.
Most people go there by organized bus tours but is flying there doable ?
Mostar LQMO is not far but maybe landing in Dubrovnik or Brac would be easier ?

Mostar LQMO is easy and friendly airport with PPR 24 hours like all other Bosnian airports. You just e-mail filled form and get confirmation. Unfortunately they don’t have Avgas, so you have to rely on refueling somewhere else (LDDU, LDSB or LDSP – I would choose LDSB due to much lower fees).
During summer Livno LQLV is also international airport (PPR24) because of many foreign glider pilots coming there. However, it’s two hours driving while from Mostar is only 30 min.
