Hello all,
I am planning a trip to the Canary Islands (Lanzarote/Fuerteventura) in spring.
The plan is to fly from Jerez IFR or possibly with Y plan (to avoid the slot obligation in GCRR) to Lanzarote. Direct it is 603 NM; if I now try with autorouter to generate an IFR routing incl. SID, the route always leads over the Moroccan mainland, instead of more or less directly over water.
If I choose a routing from Faro instead, it is almost a direct routing:
The flight will be done with a Seneca, FLs between 80 and 240 possible, but < FL180 preferred.
I have seen that pilots here from the forum have already flown the route Jerez-Lanzarote IFR – how did you do it?

Foreflight suggests VJF UN10 LINTO R10 TNG A621 BAMBA ABODA A857 TERTO with some level changes between 150 and 180 or ONUBA UN747 MINTA GIMAL OSLAD R724 IBALU A857 TERTO at FL170 if you want to avoid Morocco entirely

Using my fantasy TBM-900 between FL80 and FL180, FF suggests a route at FL150: VJF2V VJF UN10 LINTO R10 TNG/N0295F180 A621 BAMBA/N0292F170 ABODA A857 TERTO/N0292F180 TERTO4Q

No level change was needed in May – as I posted above – I filed (and flew) FL180 at that exact route. However, something changed (VJF UN10 LINTO not available above FL155) and you have to apply some level changes:
VJF2V VJF/N0160F150 UN10 LINTO/N0170F180 R10 TNG A621 BAMBA ABODA IBALU A857 VEDOD TERTO TERTO4Q
In reality ATC will let you climb to FL180 if no other traffic at this segment.
according to your remarks I was able to validate the following routing within autorouter successfully:
N0149F150 VJF2V VJF UN10 LINTO/N0147F180 R10 TNG/N0150F150 A621 BAMBA/N0147F150 DCT ABODA A857 TERTO TERTO4Q
Of course, manual adjustment was necessary.

Try without checking levels at TNG and BAMBA.
