Seriously, my electric AI also has a “Quick Erect” button. It can be used to quickly set the gyro to straight and level, without waiting for the mercury switches and torque motors to do their job.
But IMO it’s relatively useless, as on IFR airports you usually taxi much longer than the gyro takes to erect itself, and the vacuum AI’s I’ve seen don’t need a “Quick Erect” button either.

You need to get a control lock Adam and stop using the seat belts. It looks nasty.
