Nice video. Got me into reviewing current charts to practice reading them.

But then I realized the pictures from the met office and france weather service seem to think the fronts are quite different. I guess they don’t coordinate and they don’t use the same models?

Interestingly the further away into the future the more consistent they seem to be. I would have expected less debate on the current fronts… Or am I missing something?

The MSLP charts vary a lot between the UK and the German ones – here.

Not seen an explanation for it anywhere.

Just watched the entire video.

It is very good.

My view remains that you get much more value, as a pilot, from using windy.com This is simply because there is no way that you will out-forecast the professionals who produce the TAFs, and the MSLP charts.
