PA28 Arrow IV ‘glareshield’ – anybody recognize the missing air vent. From ‘sunburns’ would seem an oblong item.

We have that or similar both left and right (as you can see RHS in my picture)
Our missing item is fitted RHS only, closser to the central pillar and further away from the screen.
Seems it should cover those two ‘oval’ holes.
My guess is some kind of after-market cooling fan housing/vent…
The aircraft did have a working aircon system (now defunked) but always understood it was factory fitted (could be wrong). Apparently we are carrying around some leftover hardware (weighing a few pounds !!!) from the aircon system down in the tail cone, which I am told is too complicated to remove !!!???
I used to fly an air conditioned archer in Qatar many years ago….very useful when it’s 40deg+ outside!
It’s an orginal part, it hasn’t to do with Aircon
The location would be suitable for an avionic cooling installation, I guess.
Nothing in the aircrafts documentation? Usually options are shown in parts caralogues or maintenance / service manuals…
