LAA in TL 3.15 approves a number of “experimental” Lycoming clones. Lycoming Thunderbolt is explicitly not included in the general acceptance. Q: Anybody here building an RV10 with a Thunderbolt IO540 and requesting IFR approval for the airplane?
I’m specifically fishing for LAA position towards Thunderbolt cold air induction system offered as an optional configuration item.
