Trying to connect a TNC antenna cable
to this plug
and am missing this part
Any pointers on what to google to find it or where to buy one?
Thank you!
This is a “BNC push-on plug” – essentially a BNC/TNC plug without the outer bayonet/nut. For example, here is a Chinese adaptor to conventional BNC, and the same widget by Amphenol is 112532. One of the panel-mount cable connectors like on your drawing is Amphenol 31-6244, but they also exist in different varieties (e.g. soldered vs. crimped).
These are to mate with the floating connector in a transponder/GPS tray. It is floating to handle misalignment.
To go from that to BNC there are various conns like this
and from BNC to TNC
I have not found a floating-TNC to TNC in one item.
Thank you very much!
