There is Aero Friedrichshafen at the end of April. This normally serves as a “German fly-in” and lots of people turn up. This precludes an early May fly-in – too close. In the past, Aero was early April.
So we are probably looking at late May.

I suspect this one will need more “close organisation”. On their own, few are “self organising”. I will leave it to someone else to do that 
We could try Sicily again, which got washed out last time we tried it.

How about La Rochelle in May?
Very nice place, lots to see for the whole family, very reachable for anyone in mainland Europe or the UK.
In May 26th to 29th would be doable for us. Looking forward to any destination. @Peter La Rochelle is not my favorite this time, as we have been there several times and the last time just a few month ago. Italy or Spain sounds nice for us, or any other destination in France.
I have 10-17 May available. Other dates OK for a short one.
Somebody has to set the destination and run with it, otherwise interest will be exactly minus zero
IMHO La Rochelle is OK for a short stay, say 2 nights.
I can’t, already have something mid-May.
