In the old times people got stuck ON the toilet. Now, they get stuck IN the toilet compartment, while trying to turn around.
Seriously, did you also realize how tight the lavatories have become in recent years?

@Dan, the new Airbus designs with the toilet against the aft bulkhead are definitely a LOT smaller then amy other toilets i have seen on aircraft.
