You can find more under the Posting Tips link, but in essence you get 1:1 display of images below a certain size (approximately the forum width, about 830 pixels) and you get automatic down-scaling of images bigger than that.
For example, this image which is 450 pixels wide displays unchanged
This image is 2000 pixels wide and is scaled down
This is worth knowing about, because no other "discussion site" I know of does that, or does it properly.
