Was there any other difference in the non-dairy men?
Humans can be divided into 2 races. Those who, like other mammals, stop producing lactose digesting enzymes when weaned, and those who continue to do so.
This crosses appearance barriers, which are usually race defining, at least for those of African, Asian, and European origin.
Starvation selected differently depending on availability of herbivore milk.

Men with higher intake of dairy foods, but not nondairy calcium, had a higher risk of prostate cancer compared with men having lower intakes. Associations were nonlinear, suggesting greatest increases in risk at relatively low doses.

I personally liked the study about prostate cancer which said the more sperm releases men have the less the risk of prostate cancer is better…

You will get a lot of strange looks if you are releasing sperm in a restaurant

Also, as you get older, the relative frequency of sperm release and eating becomes quite different…
