My girls gave me a nice present for my xxth birthday. Highly recommended! I buzz them regularly early morning and confessed to the captain to which he responded: ‘please keep doing that, pax love it, but try not to hit us’.

today’s pic is yet another boring mountain shot… looking at the Grandes Jorasses (13’806ft) which are masking the Mt Blanc from this position.
Not that it was the kind of weather to fly near the tall one, winds at FL100 from the NE at around 45kts. A wind strength which can massively increase thanks to orographic conditions.
Snow dust flying off the exposed peaks is a telltale and a warning: always respect the Mt Blanc, for it has claimed more than one…
