Filing a Z flight plan

I’m going to the Channel Islands at the weekend (from the UK).

To avoid being stuffed down to some low altitude over the sea, and because I like an ILS, I generally request IFR into the Channel Islands zone even though I’m on a VFR flight plan. This has always worked fine, albeit with a bit of shuffling/surprise when I ask Jersey Control for IFR – simply because they aren’t expecting it.

This time I’d like to file a Z flight plan so that they are expecting it (or at least, I can suggest that they should be).

How would people go about this? I usually file via SkyDemon, but I believe it only does V flight plans.

EGLM & EGTN

I do it with AutoRouter or EuroFPL

SkyDemon does VFR only still Jersey ATC would allow IFR departure (Omni departure to 3kft) or IFR arrival (ILS landing at 3kft) on that to get in/out of CTR, not sure about Alderney or Guernsey?

Eurofpl is the simplest way for hacking OCAS flight plans.

Like me filing EGKA SFD LYD TUKVI LFAT as “I”, 5000ft.
