Flying high in VFR in European countries

My experience with agl airspace is that you have to stay deep inside to keep radio reception let alone radar contact but hey it was Spain, they will vector you VFR from Class D into Class A, and if you have an objection keep it for yourself

Thank you for all your posts, looks like flying in the portion of airspace I’m interested is not so improbable as my friend depicted.
To answer to some of you, the airplane will be a Risen 915iS experimental.
Although will be very quite good instrumented with dual G3x, dual ADHARS, dual pitot, dual radio, GPS ADSB IN/OUT transponder, iPad mini + SkyDemon + Rosetta, oxygen, unfortunately in Italy make an IFR exp it’s very difficult and almost useless, since is not allowed to fly in IMC.
Owning an IFR certified A/C is out of the question for bureaucracy etc… at least in a country like Italy.
Other than that I fell in love with this airplane due to the exceptional numbers of speed, efficiency, fuel consumption and endurance that shows.
So no IR at least for now.
