For me it was a visit to the Isles of Scilly last October.

Fuel stop en-route and my first visit to Lands End:

Final for Lands End (as you touch down, you lose sight of the end of the runway over the “hump” – a bit disconcerting!:

St Mary’s, the largest of the Scilly Islands:

Visiting the Abbey Gardens on Tresco – the weather was blissful for October in the UK!

Apologies that they are not all “flying” pictures, but they are included anyway because it is such great destination for both pilots and non-pilots alike!

The 3rd from the bottom is a flying pic actually And unlike this one he will probably fly again…

I agree it’s a great destination and the flight there is so much more interesting than the usual burger run.
