How did paying all the Cessna plans thing work out in the end? Was the hourly cost including the depreciation ok or would it have been cheaper to not pay Cessna and be on your own and accept a lower resale value due to missing plans?

It worked fine. Engines aren’t up for discussion. Proparts ended up with a large surplus which I can carry over to another Cessna aircraft. On these aircraft if you don’t have the plans, the value is discounted by the full buy in price.
